Suite Rate Increases

We have been thinking about suite rate increases again as the cost of living continues to rise.  

With the Pandemic now firmly behind us we feel we have a clearer understanding of what our suite rates should be by monitoring demand and listening to customer feedback through the global availability line.

We have made some changes to our tariff page making our pricing more straightforward and explaining the benefits of all inclusive. The website also now shows our “from” suite rates.  This allows those of you who are willing to go the extra mile and offer the all inclusive level of care the option to quote the all inclusive suite rate exclusively particularly over peak holiday periods or if it’s your only / last suite available.

Our gut feeling is that the 2 guests @  £37 per day suite rate for our everyday package and the £47 all inclusive package daily rate is pitched about right for the rest of this year.

Based on previous feedback, we do feel the 1 guest rate should increase to £25 in a large suite and £30 in an extra large suite on our everyday package. We plan to implement this from June 1st so any confirmations you send out beyond this date can be at the new rate. 

We propose to increase the 2 guest suite rate from January 1st 2024. We feel £40 per day in an extra large suite for two guests and £50 on our all inclusive package. 2 guests in a large suite would become £33 on our everyday package and £40 on our all inclusive package.

We do realise this increase may not be right for everyone. Personal choice and geography will affect your decision making so we have made this an opt-in opt out decision. 

If you could email us in the next 10 days that would be fabulous with your thoughts and decision.  If we don’t hear back from you we will assume you are happy with the price increase and will update your web pages to reflect this.

Lovely to hear from you and thank you so much for sending over your revised dates.

Because your revised dates are shorter / quite different to your original dates I am delighted to say that I can still offer a suite for ( cats name)  but am a little more restricted on the dates.  I can now offer to take care of  ( cats names) on (  insert dates that suit your spreadsheet)  .

Alternatively I would be more than happy to check our other locations to see if they can help.

Our suite rates online are our “from” suite rates and due to the way our allocation works we don’t have an everyday suite rate available over this peak time, so sorry. We may have a suite available at one of our other lovely hotels, would you like us to check this for you?

Our lovely nerds have updated the live link to reviews on each individual hotel page of the website. These now show Google reviews as they are added by customers.  We think this is a great reflection of the amazing care we all give and shows our immaculate hotels at Longcroft.

We apologise for the sporadic nature of the postcard maker over the last few weeks. It’s now fixed so happy postcard making!

The lovely Lorna at Longcroft Bury St Edmunds for featuring on her local radio. Abi also chatted to BBC Three Counties Radio this week about kissing your pets!

Happy Birthday Longcroft Chelmsford. They are 5 today. Keep up the good work, you are amazing!
