Mews – November 2020

Hello Longcroft ladies and gents,

We hope you are having a good week so far.

We thought it would be good to touch base with a few bits and bobs ahead of Christmas which seems to be coming around rather fast!

Christmas bookings

We hope most of you have experienced a small flurry of enquiries for Christmas. We recommend sending a friendly email to your existing Christmas bookings to firm them up. Below is the email we recommend you send and if you need help with any responses in response to the follow ups just let us know, we are getting very good at writing these!

Suggested subject line : We are looking forward to seeing you soon!

The subject line is friendly whilst reminding your customers that their stay is on the horizon.

Hello Naomi and Jack.

We hope you are safe and well.

Due to these unpredictable times we are reaching out to all of our customers who have Christmas reservations with us.

If you are still planning to take your break between the ( dates)  then there is absolutely nothing to do and we really look forward to welcoming you and Jack at ( check in time and date)

If, however, you feel you would like to cancel or amend your dates then we are just letting you know that the final day to do this without the full balance becoming due is ( insert date 28 days prior to check in)

As always please feel free to give us a ring to chat if that’s a better option for you.

All the purrs!

(your name)

Franchise fee holidays

We know that the situation is still very much a moving target so please do get in touch if you feel you would like to take advantage of the fee holiday or if you just want a chat, that’s also good!

Call Frequency

We recognise that some of you love to chat to us regularly, and others less frequently. Could you let us know individually by email what your communication preferences are.

1. I’d love a monthly call.

2. I’d like to just call you as when I want to

3. I’d like a monthly call and I would still like to call you as and when I want to.

4. You tell us!

Once we have received your preference we will set about booking the calls in regularly.

Christmas gifting!

Again we recognise this is still a moving target and hope that by December 2nd we will have a bit more clarity on Christmas and travel plans that may be allowed.

With this in mind we wanted to offer gifting that was affordable and could be sourced a bit lastminute.com!!

So, we have come up with these super cute personalised mini hessian sacks.

They are also fairly small, around 14cm x 20cm  so you don’t have to buy masses of stuff to fill them with and sit beautifully on the treat trays or can be hung on a tree.

You can order them right up until December 17th to guarantee Christmas Delivery.

They cost £4 each including the personalisation.

If any of you would still like the Christmas boxes we do have a little stock left so do let us know. The printed Longcroft boxes are £10 each.

… and not forgetting the Christmas postcards

Dear humans / Mum and Dad/ cat parents

We are having a wonderful time here at Longcroft Welwyn ( change to your location).

We awoke this morning to the birds chirping and found that Santa had still managed to leave us some gifts!

We love the ( whatever gifts you have filled the sack with)  and are looking forward to listening to Christmas songs on the radio and enjoying some (posh treats/ christmas cuddles/ turkey dinner)

Sending festive purrs.

(pussy cats name/s)

Christmas E Cards

We will be sending a festive message/ E Christmas card to all of our customers this year.

It would be great if you could send all of your customer email addresses to Lucy by December 10th. Please pop them into a spreadsheet or on GDrive, with the name in one field and the email address in another.

If you would like to send Christmas cards in person …. still do.
