A HEARTFELT CHRISTMAS MESSAGE TO THE LONGCROFT FAMILY …

Dear Team,

As the year comes to a close, we want to take this opportunity to thank you for your commitment and hard work.  Longcroft’s reputation as a trusted haven for cats and their owners is built on the care and professionalism that each of you brings every day.

This year, we’ve grown and achieved so much together. From welcoming new guests, to expanding our family of hotels, these milestones have only been possible because of your dedication and teamwork.  The attention to detail and warmth you show to our guests, both feline and human, truly sets Longcroft apart.

As the holiday season begins, we hope you take pride in everything you’ve accomplished.  Your efforts have provided comfort and peace of mind to so many families this year – a truly meaningful achievement.

Looking ahead, 2025 is set to be another exciting year as we welcome new franchisees and explore new opportunities to grow and innovate. With such a talented team, we are confident in the success that lies ahead.

This season is also a time of change as we bid farewell to Helen and Aly. Their contributions have been integral to Longcroft’s success, and we are deeply grateful for everything they’ve brought to our team.  They will always remain part of the Longcroft family, and we wish them every success in their next chapter.  At the same time, we are delighted to welcome LJ to Longcroft Creeting St Peter and Sheryl and Matthew to Longcroft Bursledon.

As you take some well-deserved time to relax and recharge this festive season, we hope you enjoy the small gift that should have arrived – a token of our gratitude for your hard work and dedication.

Thank you for being such an essential part of the Longcroft journey.  We look forward to everything we will achieve together in the year to come!

Wishing you a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year.

Warm wishes,

Abi and Lucy =^^=

TOP TIPS FOR A RELAXING CHRISTMAS …

Christmas Customer Communications

Customer Christmas E-Card

As in previous years, we will be sending a festive message to all of our customers in December. It’s a great way to thank them for their support and encourage them to get thinking about booking again next year!

All you need to do is give Longcroft HQ your up-to-date list of email contacts for your customers. Please complete the gdrive document that we have shared with you by Monday 16th December. We have set up a ‘Christmas Card List’ spreadsheet for each hotel – this will be shared with you. Please just open up your spreadsheet and copy and paste all customer email addresses in a column, with a separate line for each email address.

If you would also like to send Christmas cards in person to your super regulars  …. then of course please do.

Christmas Day Postcards

Please don’t forget those Christmas Day postcards! They are an important touch that has a big impact on your customers. But remember, you can schedule these well in advance so you don’t have to spend time on Christmas morning doing kitty admin!

Prepare the postcards days before and schedule them to send on Christmas morning. To do this, write the content of the email and include the subject line and recipient’s email address then click on the little arrow by the side of the blue send button in your gmail account and tap on ‘schedule send.’ This will give you the option to send at a time of your choice, such as Christmas morning at 10am. Purrrrrfect!

A suggested postcard message …

Dear Mum and Dad,

We are having a fabulous time here at Longcroft.

When we woke up this morning, Santa had left us some delicious festive treats in our suite and lovely gifts that made us purrrr!

After playing with our new (whatever toy given) we are looking forward to some extra special Christmas pampering later, including (some posh treats, cosy cuddles and a scrummy turkey dinner), all while listening to some classic Christmas tunes on the radio!

With festive love and purrs …
